Day 7-A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you

When I first came to the visitor's center about 11 years ago, I was in awe. i'm still in awe today. This temple, and all temples, are beautiful inside and out. There is a peace there that can't be found anywhere else. It is the place that had the biggest impact on me because it was where i first recognized the spirit. I saw this beautiful building and saw the statue of the Christus inthe visitor's center and heard about families being together forever. Soon after, I knew this is where I wanted to be. This is the place that could turn my life around. I have been to many temples since then, including the Mt. Timpanogos temple, where I was sealed to my very best friend for time and all eternity.

Now, we're having our little boy soon, and he will be born into the covenant and will one day be able to go to the temple and feel the spirit for himself. But, it all had to start somewhere, and for me, that somewhere was the washington dc temple.

What a neat experience and something you will remember always. I love the DC temple....even though Ive been there just once. I love driving on the freeway and seeing the temple on the top of the hill.
