Day 10-Songs you listen to when you're bored, happy, sad, mad, hyped

I love music! I would listen to it more but Matthew and I usually enjoy different music- so we take turns between music and tv...
I love to listen to Relient K and Something Corporate in any mood. As well as counting crows, 10000 maniacs, hootie and the blowfish, rascal flats, and many others. if i need to get pumped up, i listen to more of matthew's music although i don't know all the artists- whatever is fast paced and motivating. i also enjoy church/efy music.

music can  change your mood from happy to sad and sad to better, bored to entertained. good music is sometimes hard to find as more and more of it is becoming junk but it's still one of my favorite things.

not a big fan of the radio- to many stupid songs and commercials but if i have it on, i prefer country.

 resting!

October

What a wonderful time of year October is. It was beautiful weather. We had nice days and some rainy days, and windy days, but most of all we had the changing of leaves. There are still many pretty trees here but they were the best a few weeks ago.  Here are some of our most recent pics.. since I know that's why your here anyway :)

the flowers matthew got me :)

our night out seeing the monuments with matthew's cousin and family

it was windy and cold!!

35 weeks!

baby love  :)

October came and went so fast-  I can't believe we're already into November already. baby is expected within the next month and i'm so excited for him to come. matthew and i wanna see what he looks like and play with his little hands and feet and nibble on his cheeks. life is good. we're excited :)

Day 8-Short term goals for this month and when you'll accomplish them

This is like a to do list! - which i love :)

However, my biggest short term goal right now is to finish all baby things before baby comes. This means, having the shower, organizing gifts from shower, getting anything remaining that we need and organizing them... If we make this a "1 month" goal- that means I hope to have the baby! now, he may be late in coming, which i totally understand but the due date is 1 month from today! how CRAZY is that.

Other than doing all things baby, my short term goals are
-to fit in my yoga- which i loved doing but have only done it a few times.
-keep the weight gain to a minimun these last few weeks. i've done so good! Only 19 lbs so far and I'd hate to gain a ton these last few, although, i'm starting to feel like a baloon full of water.
-read the first part of Harry Potter 7 before the movie comes out which if I dont start now, i'll prob never get done. i'm just obsessed with my baby books!
-see Harry Potter 7. YAY!!
-spend lots of time with my hubby since after baby comes, life will be very different.
-finish the BOM. My goal was to finish by the end of the year, but i'm hoping to be almost done before baby so that if i get sidetracked or off schedule, I have still met my goal. I'm in Ether, so doing pretty good :)
-enjoy the sleep that i'm getting. it's not great, and it's not a lot. but i want to enjoy the 3-4 hours i get in a row until that is cut in half.

i love goals!

Day 7-A picture of someone/something that has the biggest impact on you

When I first came to the visitor's center about 11 years ago, I was in awe. i'm still in awe today. This temple, and all temples, are beautiful inside and out. There is a peace there that can't be found anywhere else. It is the place that had the biggest impact on me because it was where i first recognized the spirit. I saw this beautiful building and saw the statue of the Christus inthe visitor's center and heard about families being together forever. Soon after, I knew this is where I wanted to be. This is the place that could turn my life around. I have been to many temples since then, including the Mt. Timpanogos temple, where I was sealed to my very best friend for time and all eternity.

Now, we're having our little boy soon, and he will be born into the covenant and will one day be able to go to the temple and feel the spirit for himself. But, it all had to start somewhere, and for me, that somewhere was the washington dc temple.

Days 5 & 6

Day 5-A picture of somewhere you've been to

I've been many places but I really like this picture. Matthew and I loved our time in San Francisco a year or so ago.. :)

Day 6-Favorite super hero and why

hmmm.. my favorite super hero!! i don't even know but i think i would choose elstagirl from the incrdibles. (does she even count as a super hero?) but i would choose her because she has it all. she married her superhero best friend, has super hero kids that even though they're pesty have cool powers, and she can stretch and do hit someone from forever far away.

it's a cool power that seems underrated.

Day 4-A habit that you wish you didn't have

Despite being a very positive person most of the time, I often find a very small negative thing about the situation.  Then, I can't keep my mouth shut.
blahhh.
